Poem: Confidence

Poem: Confidence

I walk a little taller. I hold my head higher. I am starting to create my life according to my own terms versus what my parents or society set forth for me. No more being traditional, politically correct, reserved, and polished when I don’t want to be. There is no book that we all follow that says we have to live our lives a certain way.

If I rather be conscious versus religious, I can.
If I want to be rebellious versus follow the rules, I can.
If I want to self-publishing my first book, I can.
If I want to travel the world, I can.
If I want to work for myself, I can.

There will be a line of people waiting to tell you what you can or can not do. Take the path that you want for yourself. Don’t listen to the haters or the fear throwers. They want you to play it safe. They want fear to be your friend.

And you, well, you want to be free.

Hello love! I am a blogger and writer here to help you to kick those bad feelings in the ass and assist you with your personal growth. I am here to share my lessons I’ve learned with you so you can love and learn yourself even more than you did yesterday.
